Snake Dice Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Snake Dice, a children's snakes-and-ladders and Korean alphabet quiz game for Android, handles information on the device and information processed by its advertising provider.
Made for children
Snake Dice is designed for young children (ages 4 to 8) and their families. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no chat or social features, and no in-app purchases. The developer does not operate game servers and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Game progress and settings are stored locally on the device only.
The game itself does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location. The advertising SDK declares the permissions it needs (such as internet access and the advertising ID) automatically.
Advertising for a child audience
Snake Dice displays ads using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), configured for a child-directed app: ads are non-personalized, ad content is limited to a general-audience (G) rating, and ad requests are tagged for child-directed treatment. These settings are applied to every ad request in the app's code, not only in account settings.
Google's SDK disclosure lists automatic processing of IP addresses (which Google may use to estimate the device's general, approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers for purposes such as serving ads, analytics and fraud prevention, including for non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no data is processed. The specific information processed depends on SDK version, settings, available identifiers and consent choices.
See Google Mobile Ads data disclosure for the provider's description.
Privacy choices
Snake Dice uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent information and show a consent form where required. A "Privacy options" entry appears in the game's Settings when Google reports that an entry point is required. The Settings area and its privacy controls sit behind a hold-to-open parent gate.
Parents can also manage advertising-ID controls through Android settings. Changing a permission or consent choice does not itself delete information already processed by third-party services.
External links
The game can link to short videos on YouTube. Following a link leaves the app and opens YouTube, where Google's own terms and privacy policy apply. Links and the Settings area are reached through a hold-to-open control intended for parents.
Storage and deletion
Game progress and settings stay on the device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes this local data, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Information processed by Google's services follows Google's retention and deletion practices.
Children's privacy compliance
Snake Dice is intended to comply with the Google Play Families policy and applicable children's privacy laws such as COPPA. It collects no personal information from children on the developer's side, and its only data-processing third-party service is Google's advertising SDK configured for child-directed treatment as described above.
Changes and contact
This policy is effective as of the date shown above and will be updated when the app's data practices change.
